Madam Gaya and Aunty Lim – Neighbourhood Food Share Initiative

Madam Gaya Rujake embodies the spirit of care and generosity that FairPrice Foundation aspires to live up to through the Neighbourhood Food Share Initiative. Supporting her recovering husband and two children through school, she still finds the time to help those in need as both a volunteer and beneficiary of the programme. 

A pillar of her community, Madam Gaya’s story tells us that no matter the background or circumstance, anyone can make a massive difference in the lives of those around them. Her efforts set an example for us to follow, and serve as a constant reminder of the importance of our mission to keep daily essentials within reach and make every day a little better for all in Singapore.
