Uncle Bob – Chinese New Year Celebrations at Ren Ci

Mr. Low Seng Huan, fondly known as Bob, left a lasting impression on the FairPrice Group team during our recent Chinese New Year (CNY) visit to Ren Ci Hospital at Ang Mo Kio. A simple visit may seem small, but for extraordinary individuals like Bob, it means the world. The team shared special moments, and the delightful performances by NTUC First Campus kids filled Ren Ci with festive joy, bringing smiles to its residents.

The FairPrice Foundation and community support through our CNY block parties enabled FairPrice Group to raise over $80,000. This generous contribution was used to create Festive Care Packs for seniors in 29 nursing homes and active ageing centres, including Bob. 

Our FairPrice Group colleagues’ overwhelming support through volunteer sign-ups for our ‘Day of Service’ initiative made this year’s outreach even more impactful, helping us make every day a little better for all in Singapore, especially by touching the lives of the vulnerable in our community.
