SINGAPORE, 25 March 2025 – In celebration of May Day 2025 and SG60, FairPrice Group (FPG) will offer over $5 million in savings and discounts to NTUC Union members1 and Link members2 across FPG’s supermarkets and selected Kopitiam outlets. This initiative honours all workers in Singapore and will run in FairPrice stores and online from 24 April to 18 May and at selected Kopitiam outlets for the month of May.
This year’s commitment of over $5 million, planned in celebration of SG60, is the largest amount committed by FPG for its annual May Day campaign. Throughout May, FPG will help Singaporeans stretch their dollar even further with 50 per cent discount on daily essentials, deals on staple beverages at selected Kopitiam outlets, and more.
Customers can further enhance their savings by combining May Day discounts with FPG’s regular weekly discounts for Seniors, Merdeka or Pioneer Generation individuals, and Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) Blue or Orange cardholders.
Vipul Chawla, Group CEO, FairPrice Group, stated that despite the current environment of global uncertainty, FPG remains dedicated to its mission of keeping daily essentials within reach for all. “This May Day, we want to especially recognise the hard work of Singapore’s workers and frontliners. Our discounts are a way of giving back, ensuring that all in Singapore can access daily essentials and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. We’re committed to making every day a little better!”
Caryn Lim, Assistant Secretary-General of NTUC and NTUC May Day Committee Chairperson said, “As we celebrate SG60 this May Day, we want to reaffirm our commitment to support Singaporean workers and their families. FairPrice Group is hence offering discounts on daily essentials, and these savings will help our members stretch their dollar and ease their day-to-day expenses. We strongly encourage all members to take full advantage of these discounts throughout the May Day campaign period.”
