Meet our Everyday Heroes
Generations of families have contributed to FairPrice Group’s mission. Alvin Goh, an HR leader, received a heartfelt letter from his mother, a former employee. She expressed pride in seeing Alvin carry on her commitment to supporting the frontliners.
Their smiles say it all! When a customer wrote in to praise Hou Yan Qiu and Feng Peixing for their amazing service, we knew we had to share the love. Turns out, remembering a customer’s favourite drink goes a long way!
For 17 years, Vathi has been a friendly face at Hougang Point FairPrice, welcoming everyone’s day with her kindness. A customer’s letter of thanks brought tears to her eyes, reminding us of the everyday kindness that strengthens our community.

Retail
FairPrice Group started out as a consumer cooperative with a single store in 1973. Today, we are Singapore’s largest retailer, with a network of over 600 touchpoints serving more than half a million customers daily. Over the years, we have evolved along with shoppers’ needs by rolling out new retail formats such as FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra, Unity pharmacies, and Cheers convenience stores.
We have also advanced innovation in the digital space. Our omni-channel approach provides customers with greater access to a wider range of products and services, from smart shopping solutions such as Scan and Go, to two-hour grocery deliveries.
Food Services
Food Services
Our Food Services business comprises leading household names such as NTUC Foodfare and Kopitiam. We are committed to serving up delicious, nutritious, and affordable cooked food across a diverse range of cuisines. We also provide food catering services to various locations, including army camps, hospitals, and childcare centres.
At the same time, we are dedicated to creating quality dining experiences for our customers. For example, Food Folks @ Lau Pa Sat, which is managed by Kopitiam, allows customers to indulge in local hawker favourites as well as Michelin-starred meals at wallet-friendly prices – all in an iconic and historic setting.
Own Brands & Food Solutions
Own Brands & Food Solutions
Our Own Brands & Food Solutions (OBFS) business offers over 2,000 quality products from all over the world at affordable prices. These include housebrand staples such as rice, oil, and sugar, as well as newer offerings such as potato chips, rolled oats, and even edamame beans.
Products from our private label brands, such as Golden Chef Abalone and Delicato sausages, have also become top-sellers and garnered awards – all while helping customers stretch their dollar. Since its inception in 2019, OBFS has risen to become the top fast-moving consumer goods company in Singapore.

Central Operations
Our Central Operations team, comprising supply chain and store operations management is the backbone of FairPrice Group. Teams in this division play a critical role in ensuring that all shelves remain stocked, even in times of crisis. By leveraging data, automation, and technology, as well as investing in state of the art facilities, we make sure that our customers get to enjoy variety, freshness, and a seamless shopping experience.

Our Sustainability Office steers FairPrice Group towards its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals. Our Net-Zero Working Committee is also committed to enabling the Group to reach its target of operational net-zero by 2045.
