Groceries at your doorstep with FairPrice on Wheels
When Circuit Breaker measures were first introduced in April 2020, many seniors could not easily purchase their groceries due to safe management measures.
This changed when we launched FairPrice on Wheels, an initiative which brought daily essentials to selected residential estates with a higher concentration of low-income seniors. Specially outfitted grocery vans – offering rice, bread, cooking oil, canned food, toiletries, fruits, vegetables, and more – were deployed to multiple locations islandwide from April to October 2020. Over 200 items are available, from fresh fruits to frozen goods.
