The FairPrice Heartstrings Buy 2020, a collaboration between FairPrice and Community Chest, was rolled out to galvanise support from strategic partners and the community. Through this inititaive, FairPrice and its supply partners pledged a dollar-for-dollar donation for over 30 selected items purchased at all FairPrice and Cheers outlets. In all, $240,000 was donated to the cause.

Donations raised from the Heartstrings Buy initiative goes towards helping various programmes of social service agencies supported by Community Chest, for adults with disabilities, children with special needs and youth-at-risk, families in need, persons with mental health conditions, and vulnerable seniors.
