• S$4 FairPrice return voucher to be given with every S$50 worth of CDC Supermarket vouchers transacted at any FairPrice stores between 25 June to 1 July 2024

SINGAPORE, 25 JUNE 2024 – To help Singaporeans stretch their dollar and maximise on the Government’s support package, FairPrice Group (FPG) announced today that it will distribute S$4 in FairPrice return vouchers for every $50 worth of CDC Supermarket vouchers spent in a single transaction at any FairPrice store¹ from today till 1 July 2024. 

The return vouchers will be valid for use the day after they are issued until 31 July 2024.² Additionally, there is no minimum spend requirement and multiple vouchers will be permitted for use in a single transaction.

The FairPrice return voucher initiative complements the Government’s ongoing efforts to help Singaporeans cope with daily expenses. During the Singapore Budget 2024, the Government announced an additional $600 in CDC vouchers for every household, to be disbursed in two $300 tranches. The first tranche was released today³, with the second scheduled for January 2025.

Since the start of this year, FPG has also announced a wave of programmes to help Singaporeans keep daily essentials within reach. These include absorbing the one per cent Goods and Services Tax (GST) on 500 staple items till the end of June 2024, the $8 FairPrice Return Voucher promotion in conjunction with the government’s first tranche of CDC vouchers in January, a price freeze on popular seafood and exclusive promotions for produce ahead of Chinese New Year, the May Day NTUC union member deals, the Save Every Day campaign which featured over 400 savings coupons and the recent one week-long egg promotion.

Since FPG was formed in 2019, the group has returned more than S$900 million in discounts, rebates, and donations to members, customers, and the community. FPG currently offers the discounts below to help seniors in the Pioneer and Merdeka generation, and underprivileged families. These daily benefits have been extended till 31 December 2024. 

• Monday and Wednesday – Pioneer Generation (PG) – 3 per cent off
• Tuesday – Seniors aged 60 years old and above – 2 per cent off
• Wednesday – Merdeka Generation (MG) and PG – 3 per cent off
• Thursday – CHAS Blue – 3 per cent off
